Mookesh Patel is professor of visual communication design at Arizona State University. He received his M.F.A. in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He holds a diploma in visual communication from the National Institute of Design and a B.S. from Ahmedabad Science College, Gujarat University, India. He is a practicing graphic and exhibition designer and visiting faculty member at the Rhode Island School of Design. His recent clients include the Phoenix Art Museum, Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority for Malcolm Grear Designers and the government of India for a major traveling exhibition, My Land, My People. He is the recipient of a United Nations Development Program Grant, among other awards.
